Holy Bible
The greatest Book ever written is also the most important Book you will ever read. This is an absolute MUST if you are going to do life and business God's way. If you truly want to hear from the LORD, reading the Bible daily is not an option.
"Fear is Not the Boss of You" by: Jennifer Allwood
I love this book so much that I have read it three times. This book is like..."Ok girl. Now that you know what God is telling you to do...get off your butt and go do it! We all need that frankness and bluntness sometimes.

"Business Boutique" by: Christy Wright
Christy does a great job in this book going over the basics of owning a business and keeping Christ at the center. Even though I had been in business for several years when I read it, I still found it helpful and reaffirmed my "why".

"Profit First" by: Mike Michalowicz
This book literally changed how I handle my business finances. EVERY business owner needs to read this and apply as it fits your individual business. I will not do business any other way.

"E-Myth Accountant" by" Michael E. Gerber
If you own an accounting, bookkeeping or tax firm, then you NEED to read this book! The information included truly is foundational to setting up your business for success.

"Faith Driven Entrepreneur" by: Kaestner, Greeaer & Ingram
This book is full of reminders of how to keep God at the center of what you do and the responsibilities AND privileges of doing business in a way that brings glory to God.

Annual Church & Clergy Tax Guide by: Richard Hammar
If you are going to work with churches, you NEED this book! This is the crem-de-la-crem of church finance & clergy tax guides. I could not do what I do without it. This book is published annually to include current tax code updates. Trust me, it's worth every penny!
"Church Accounting: The How to Guide for Small & Growing Churches" by: London & Boatright
This book should be on every person's shelf who works with church finances ~ staff members, finance volunteers, professionals. This book is well written in layman's terms and easy to understand. A GREAT starting point for those new to church finances.

"Church Compensation" by: Elaine L. Sommerville, CPA
This is a fantastic resource for helping to understand church compensation rules. If you want to make sure you are doing payroll and clergy compensation packages correctly, this is the go-to resource for that!

"The GAP and the GAIN" by: Sullivan & Hardy
This book was recommended by another business coach and I now recommend it as well. So many times we look at how far we still have to go, instead of looking at how far we've come. This book helps you to restructure how to view your accomplishments and goals.

"She Means Business" by: Carrie Green
This is the 1st business book I read and I highlighted and underlined A LOT! Even though Ms. Green does not write from a Christian perspective, many of the things she says can be applied to the Holy Spirit's guidance and provision. I still recommend this book for all female entrepreneurs.

"Church Finance" 2nd edition by: Michael E. Batts
Here's another foundational book every church finance office should have on hand. Lots of great information and examples to go by.

"Take Back Your Time" by: Christy Wright
I needed this book when I read it. Because I thoroughly enjoy what I do, I can get lost in my work and end up working WAY too long. This book made me take a step back and reevaluate how I spend my time AND my time working.

"Kind is the New Classy" by: Candace Cameron Bure
This one was a surprise. As representatives of Jesus Christ in this chaotic and sometimes cruel world, kindness is needed. Candace does an excellent job in this book bringing out how we can practically apply kindness in our lives and share that with those we encounter.
